The Emotional Craft of Fiction
Hoping it's helpful for a character-driven debut novel.
Currently: Chapter 3
First impression: Almost returned it after chapter 1; every example so far is from a male author. He seems to think "women's fiction" is...the only fiction women like to read? But it does offer a ton of exercises for character development. Not sure if I'll finish but it's a nice commute read.
